  • Todd Laurie

    MANAGING PARTNER

    Todd Laurie brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate. He has led the launch of private real estate investment funds where he was directly responsible for the capitalization of more than 100 properties valued at over $500MM. He has overseen fund formation, capital structure, asset acquisition and diligence, and served on investment committee, helping his last firm grow by more than 400% in AUM. Throughout his career, he has taken several organizations through the process of implementing new lines of business, upgrading operating systems, and transitioning executive leadership teams. Todd graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a BA in Psychology where he was a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.

  • Nathan Bergmann, MBA, JD

    MANAGING PARTNER

    Nathan Bergmann is an attorney and compliance expert who builds and maintains business environments for optimum efficiency and vitality. Nathan has fifteen years’ experience in private banking compliance and legal departments, most recently serving as Chief Compliance officer and Associate General Counsel. In addition, Nathan has significant experience in corporate governance as corporate secretary of a private bank and its holding company. He also had held various roles and committee assignments that utilized his expertise in enterprise risk management, information systems security, and anti-money laundering compliance. Nathan graduated from the University of Denver with MBA and JD degrees. He is licensed to practice in Colorado and before the US Patent and Trademark Office.

    Brooke Wilcken has 20 years of experience building teams in retail, banking, wealth management and commercial real estate development. Prior to joining Fox Trail Consulting, Brooke was the CXO/CPO of an innovative adaptive reuse office and retail real estate developer which launched Denver's first shared office space community. She played an integral role in the acquisition of four large properties for redevelopment. She helped forge city, neighborhood, bank, and tenant relationships necessary for the redevelopments' success. The initial project catalyzed the greater redevelopment of Denver’s RiNo neighborhood, which is now the hottest submarket in Colorado. Brooke was instrumental to the firm's success and growth as she oversaw the development, lease-up and operations of 700,000 square feet, 265 tenants, 5 restaurants and 150 employees .

    DUE DILIGENCE

    Brian Russell is an acquisitions, due diligence, underwriting, and financial modeling expert with more than 10 years of experience in the private equity sector. His expertise is within identifying, underwriting, and closing new acquisitions with his tried-and-true due diligence process. He has underwritten well in excess of $3B of commercial real estate and successfully closed more than 80 transactions. Brian also specializes in organizational management software customization and implementation for acquisitions, capital development, leasing, asset management, construction management, property management, and more. Brian graduated from the University of Denver with a BBA in Real Estate and Construction Management, where he was also on the Programming Board.
